Signature Scroll Relay for NCM 20th anniversary ended successfully on March 6th, 2012. This relay subjected “Inheritance & Consensus”, is one of the most significant activity NCM has ever run. It has the longest route, widest area and largest participants.
This scroll relay lasted 127days with a route of 11465 kilometers. NCM Guangzhou Head Office held a grand opening ceremony for the scroll relay on Nov.1st, 2011. The relay passed 45 NCM offices from Nov. 2nd, 2011 to Mar. 5th, 2012. Finally, it came to China`s Capital---Beijing, on Mar. 6th, 2012. NCM Beijing Office held a welcome ceremony for the wonderful ending of this relay.
NCM`s horizontal scroll representing "Heritage and Preciousness"
In order to represent NCM sprits “Harmony, Heritage and Preciousness”, NCM designed and made a special signature scroll for its 20th anniversary. This scroll represented the classical elegance of Chinese traditional arts. It has 1,200 mm in the length, 600mm in the width, and 500 g in weight. The edge of the horizontal scroll is made of beige white damask and the exterior part is made of light cyan silk. Therefore, the scroll is noble and gorgeous with thick texture. Two spools are made of ebony in order to present a decent and elegant style.
It seemed that the scroll followed the tradition of ancient style, because it embodied the style of traditional Chinese culture. The concept of the signature scroll represents NCM`s 20-year history and its remarkableness. Meanwhile, the scroll also conveyed NCM`s spirits---flying upwards freely.
Although the relay route is quite long, the scroll is always in a good condition when being passed from one office to another. The reason is that NCM involved considerable efforts for quality control when designing and making the scroll. Besides, NCM also paid much attention to the packing box which is specially designed to resist hard compression and humid.
The Signature Scroll passing through hands and hearts
NCM signature scroll carried NCM staff`s dreams and efforts in the past 20 years. The scroll started from NCM Guangzhou office (the cradle of NCM Group). It passed through different parts of China, and finally it came to the capital---Beijing. The route covered various kinds of geographic conditions, such as coast, highland, basin, mountain, gorge, plain and dune.
The scroll met different humanities and customs during its relay process. Each NCM office kept the scroll alive and exciting with the unique culture of local city. Eastern coastal areas demonstrated the rapid growth the China’s economy; Western Provinces displayed its natural scenery and remarkable achievements; Northeast China showed its vigor in the traditional industry bases; Central China highlighted rich resources and gigantic changes caused by the rise of the culture……Along the cultural Corridors preselected by NCM, we could feel that we passed through history and modern, so we can feel the charm of NCM`s unique culture.
The white scroll is full of the signature of NCM staff who signed their names full-heartedly. Some used formal characters, and some used cursive scripts.
All NCM office made careful preparation for this signature scroll relay. Leaders paid much attention to this activity, and rear service staff delivered an excellent service. All staff took active part in this activity. More than 90% staff has participated in this activity. We can truly feel the staff`s happiness and good wishes when viewing this scroll.
The Signature Scroll Relay ended successfully in the beautiful season, but the "love relay" still continues. We sincerely hope NCM has a happy birthday this year, and we wish it will have a much better and brighter future. |
