Life is just like a piece of plant, it will grow upward, which is its nature when it was born. If it grows in fertile soil, it should make every effort to stretch its branches. If it grows between gulls, it shall send forth thin but powerful cirri. If it covers on the rough rocks, it will try every possible way to grow upward. Violent storm is the timely solution to solve the drought problem. Scorching sun can’t prevent the plant from growing. We can better see the life nature, the trend to grow upward, in harsh environments.
In Hong De Home, there are a group of children, who are just like the plants growing among the rocks. These children display the life power in adversity, which is “growing upward”. They will have a splendid future after going through trials and tribulations. In Oct, 2011, NCM Tianjin staff happened to see the lovely kids on the Internet. After receiving Mr. Wu Yongqi’s (Deputy Sales Director of North II Region) proposal, NCM Tianjin staff began their care activity.
All NCM Tianjin staff took active part in the donation preparation since the early October, 2011. Staff arranged their donated clothes as many as they can to help the orphans and poor students in Hong De Home. We also received big support from our customers. They didn’t only provide donated goods, but also sell at product-cost price to us.
A special gift from NCM President Mr. Pan Minqi, Chinese calligraphy practice book without washing, received warm welcome from the kids there. Those kids loved the gift very much so that everyone wanted to be the first one to try the practice book. They were quite confident to claim that they would practice well and send their calligraphy to Mr. Pan Minqi. NCM Tianjin Staff also prepared handwarmer pockets, stationeries and so on. Kids in Hong De Home loved these gifts much more than the normal kids. They cherished these gifts and felt grateful for what they had received.
Our hearts would become soft for some people and some things. We formed deep impression on kids’ optimistic and diligence. We felt the growing-up power as we watched the kids in Hong De Home. We spent our time and offered our loves there, but we gained the growing-up power. We will visit Hong De Home periodically where we grow together with the kids so that we can feel the ongoing growth of the hearts and the life.
