The New Year 2011 was coming, and everyone from NCM realized NCM`s spring was also on the way.
Te well prepared New Year Celebration opened after the Snow in NCM Changshu Office on Jan 21th, 2011. Office Managers from East China Region and staff from NCM Nanjing office and NCM Changzhou office braved the cold, came to Changshu office to attend the New Year Celebration in spite of long and tired journey. In the afternoon, the group games stated in the expectation of 200+ staff. NCM Senior Vice President Mr. Ma came to the sports ground and acted as the referee. Some staff rippled the shuttlecock up and down as lightly as swallow; some staff took part in the long rope skipping; some staff attended tug of war game. The games were so hot that everyone was fully committed. The games displayed the NCM sprits, that is, hardworking, combination & collaboration.
The New Year Party started with the pleasant opening dance in the night. The theme of the stage couplet was "Deep Awareness and Implementation"; we firmly believed that NCM would have a brighter future in 2011. Not only the staff from Changshu office, Nanjing office and Changzhou office attended the party, but also the amiable Mr.Ma, sagacious Mr.Mao, and the humorous Mr.Shen joined the party.
A sog named "Great Day" seemed to bring our hearts back to home; East China Region Sales Assistants played as cute rabbits and taught us "Office body relaxation exercises"; the short sketch "Red Umbrella" described how a divorced couple fell in love with each other again. The self-made play showed the youth and vitality of NCM and everyone was fully intoxicated. The internal mini games were quite creative, so everyone was actively engaged in. It was nervous but excited moment. When the party went to "Idioms Guesses" part, Product Director Mr.Shen and Assistant Sales Director Mr.Chen performed exaggerated body language which made the audience burst into laughter. Our vice president Mr.Mao was so sagacious that he could guess the idioms correctly one by one. Everyone admired Mr.Mao`s wisdom. A funny game called "Suck up table tennis balls" was quite interesting. The Team II won the game because its team members cooperated with each other perfectly. The play named "Overall Search" was famous for its line,that is,"Mr. Zhu`s coat". Everyone thought it referred to Zhu Hongbo`s coat. When the host said "Other Mr.Zhu`s or Ms.Zhu`s coat is also fine",everyone burst out laughing.
The party was so wonderful, creative and combined with modern elements. It also included some product knowledge so it was both interesting and meaningful. Three beautiful ladies from LANXESS team were so bright (ps: 3 beautiful ladies are pronounced same as three hydroxyl ladies in Chinese.); the topical dance from glycerol team was quite funny; the excellent Yoga performance from Elastomeric team was so pleasing; Mr.Black Carbon said, "Go your own way; let others talk", which used to a classic quote; defoamer team landed with many balloons on their bodies. They burst the balloons to disclaim: "No matter reat bubbles, small bubbles or red foam, yellow foam, all foams are nothing because we are defoamer". The party reached its climax when staff from Changshu and Nanjing played the small sketch "If You Are the One" respectively. The blind date is the subject of the humorous ketch, male staff dressed up in female disguise. The ketch was full of buzzwords and practical jokes which made the audience laughing. Another sketch named "The Sound of the Consensus" with the subject of reading, integrated with some other little stories. It also reviewed the development of NCM in this year, and displayed the junior staff positive mental outlook.
The lucky draw is the focus of the party. The lucky winner happily accepted the award; others clamped and congratulated the winner sincerely. Ma Ju from Sales Assistant Center won the top award. Vice president Mr. Ma presented the prize personally. No matter the prize was big or small, it presented the good luck, and it also presented NCM would have more good luck in the New Year. The following programs were distinctive, funny, the audience applauded, screamed one after another.
This was a high level, high-quality audio-visual feast. It was ended successfully with everyone`s satisfaction. All the cast and crew used their rest time to create and rehearse the sketches. We do not only see their talents, but we were more moved by their true feelings towards NCM. We firmly believe if we thoroughly carry out President Mr.Pan`s idea - "deep awareness & implementation" in the New Year 2011, the entire NCM staff will be with more enthusiasm and higher morale; working together, forging ahead, and creating another new Chapter for NCM. |
