On July 10, 2014, CPCIF Standing Vice-chairman Mr. Li Shousheng leaded CPCIF delegation visited NCM Changshu Office after being invited by NCM President Mr. Pan Minqi. The delegation consisted of CPCIF Standing Vice-chairman Mr. Li Shousheng, CPCIF Director of International Division Mr. Pang Guanglian, CPCIF Director of Science and Technology Division Mr. Hu Qianlin, and CPCIF Director of Information Division Mr. Zhao Zhiming.
As soon as CPCIF delegation arrived at NCM Changshu Office, they immediately started to conduct studies on NCM. NCM President Mr. Pan Minqi, Senior Vice President Mr. Ma Guozhen, and Vice President Mr. Mao Bo accompanied CPCIF delegation to visit NCM Changshu Headquarter, NCM Fangbang Industrial Park, Office Building, Logistics Center, and Tehe Plant. CPCIF delegation asked detailed questions about NCM`s general situation and operation status, leant NCM`s current environment, industry position, and its effects in the petrochemical industry chain as a model of chemical distribution industry. CPCIF delegation fully confirmed and praised NCM’s achievements, contributions to China`s petrochemical industry, and its social returns after NCM transformed into a private enterprise from a state-owned enterprise.
During the inspection period, Mr. Pan Minqi introduced his understanding toward China Economy and Chemical industry, and his prediction and proposals toward chemical industry development to Mr. Li Shousheng. Meanwhile, Mr. Li shared his working experiences in Shaanxi petrochemical hall, Ministry of Chemical Industry, SASAC, and CPCIF. Mr. Li especially shared his experience on how to evaluate central enterprises when he was the head of Corporate Performance Assessment Bureau of SASAC.
At the end of the inspection visit, Mr. Li said "If China wants to become a powerful chemical country, it needs a group of world-class chemical enterprises, world-class chemical technology, chemical talents, Chemical management talents, and world-class servicing enterprises for chemical industry." As the beginning sentence of A Record of the Geology of China says "The front is desolate, while the back is splendid", Mr. Li encouraged NCM to maintain promising development trend, keep growing, and devote itself to become the first world-class servicing enterprise for chemical industry in China. |
